Working with Gladman on behalf of the landowners, we were responsible for the development of the overall energy concept for the complex redevelopment of the former TATA works at Winnington. The site is on the River Weaver, opposite the Anderton Boat Lift which is a World Heritage site.

As part of the outline planning application for up to 1,550 new homes and significant non-domestic use classes, we undertook detailed assessment of multiple sustainable energy supply options including waste heat, use of the River Weaver, and the application of low temperature heat pump driven heat networks.
